Urinary Incontinence with Emsella

It is the first non-surgical, non-invasive device to treat stress and urge urinary incontinence. It is the only one approved by the FDA for incontinence and vaginal laxity. This equipment emits high-intensity electromagnetic waves that cause supra-maximal contractions in the pelvic floor muscles, while you are comfortably seated on the Emsella device. Sessions are 30 minutes long, and you are fully clothed.

Is the treatment safe?

Yes, the treatment is safe because the built-in energy flow control system provides even heating during therapy. Thus, without causing discomfort, the optimal amount of energy reaches the target tissue. Heating to lower temperatures compared to ablative lasers decreases the risk of infection or discharge. What effects will I feel after the treatment?

You will be able to feel the treated area with a slight thermal effect, that sensation is normal and will disappear in a few hours, you will not need recovery time.

What care will I have to follow after the treatment?
