Polynucleotides are fragments of DNA. When injected into the skin, they stimulate fibroblasts (cells which produce healthy skin proteins) to increase the production of collagen and elastin. Both of these are vital for maintaining the texture, firmness and youthfulness of your skin.
When polynucleotides are injected, they also accelerate the healing processes of your skin. Old, damaged and dead cells are repaired faster, whilst new ones are simultaneously generated faster.
When you arrive for your treatment, one of our trained practitioners will firstly apply some numbing cream to the target area. This is a precautionary measure to prevent any pain or discomfort around the injection site.
The treatment is generally comfortable because of this, though some patients may experience redness or swelling around the injection site. However, this tends to disappear within a day or two.
Each session lasts around 30 minutes.
Many patients start to see results around 2 weeks after their first appointment. However, it may take up to 12 months to feel the full benefits of the treatment.
We recommend a course of 2-3 sessions spaced 3 weeks apart. You may then require further maintenance appointments depending on how you're progressing.
A pack of three sessions costs €590.
To book an appointment you'll firstly have to arrange an initial consultation with us, which costs €30 and is deducted from the price of the treatment should you decide to go ahead with it.
