By combining two wavelengths that target different skin conditions, the ADVATx laser is one of the most effective skin rejuvenation treatments out there. And we're the only clinic in Ireland to have access to it.

The 589nm wavelength, with a penetration depth of up to 1.25mm, is absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin and targets acne bacteria and pigmented lesions. This makes it an effective treatment for acne, rosacea, vascular concerns, pigmented lesions and melasma.

The 1319nm wavelength penetrates up to 2mm and is absorbed by water, making it safer for darker skin types. It stimulates fibroblasts and promotes collagen production for non-ablative skin resurfacing, while also providing a thermal impact to sebaceous glands to regulate oil and sebum production. Combined with the 589nm wavelength, it offers a robust treatment for active acne.

What's more, the ADVATx laser is painless, sessions are speedy, and there is virtually no downtime afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

The ADVATx laser is a dual wavelength laser, which means it can penetrate the skin at two different depths simultaneously. This expands the range of conditions it can treat whilst also making it more effective than single wavelength lasers.

The ADVATx is ideal for treating acne, rosacea, vascular concerns, pigmented lesions, melasma and general signs of ageing.

The ADVATx uses two different wavelengths of laser, each of which has a slightly different purpose.

The 589nm wavelength, with a penetration depth of up to 1.25mm, is preferentially absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin and targets acne bacteria and pigmented lesions. This makes it the gold standard for treating acne, rosacea, vascular concerns, pigmented lesions and melasma.

The 1319nm wavelength penetrates up to 2mm and is preferentially absorbed by water making it safer for darker skin types. It stimulates fibroblasts and promotes collagen production for non-ablative skin resurfacing, while also providing a thermal impact to sebaceous glands to regulate oil and sebum production. Combined with the 589nm wavelength, it offers a robust treatment for active acne.

Depending on the size of the area being treated, each session with the ADVATx laser generally takes 15 to 45 minutes.

This depends on the skin condition you're targeting and the size of the treated area. However, generally speaking you can expect to achieve optimal results after 3 to 6 sessions.

The ADVATx laser is generally considered to be a painless treatment. During the session, you will typically feel a mild warming or tingling sensation as the device glides over your skin.

No. After your appointment you can immediately return to your daily routine.

The ADVATx laser starts from €120 to treat small areas of skin.
